There are fees for posting classified ads, as well as fees for premium ad options. These are outlined in our ‘Pricing, Payment & Subscription Plans’ section.

CLASSIFIED ADS – GENERAL INFORMATION
What are your ad posting policies?
RestoEquip.com has specific guidelines for posting classified ads. The classified ad must accurately describe the product or service sold, and the pictures for the classified ad must reasonably match the item description provided.
We do not allow multiple types of items to be posted under one classified ad listing. For example, if you have a commercial stove and a commercial microwave, those must be posted under two separate classified ad listings. Similarly, if you have a bar table and bar chairs, those must be posted under two separate classified ad listings. All commercial electrical appliances must be posted as separate items, regardless of the amount you hold in inventory.
Items can only be grouped if they are exactly the same, and only within specific categories. These are defined in our Terms of Use. For example, if you have 20 cutlery sets to sell, those can be placed under one ad. Similarly, if you have 50 wine glasses to sell, those can be placed under one classified ad.

What are your ad editing & correction policies?
We allow you to edit a classified ad only once after it has been activated and paid for, and only for basic corrections such as spelling mistakes, inserting better pictures and other simple corrections. If any further corrections are required, you must contact us by email with the following information:
- Your username
- The ad number in question
- Your desired correction(s)
The above information must be emailed to: correction@restoequip.com
As long as the requested corrections do not change the item or overall spirit of the ad, changes will be applied by our staff within a 72 hour period.
An ad is considered activated when you select the option below as part of the ad creation and submission process, and complete payment (if applicable).

Please note the ad will not be displayed until your payment has been completed & confirmed by PayPal, which is done in real-time.

What are the ‘Featured’, ‘Highlighted’ and ‘Priority Platinum’ classified ad options?
RestoEquip.com provides a range of options for your classified ads to be more visible to customers. These options can be purchased as add-ons to ads.
Please note that certain Subscription Plans include these options as part of the subscription package.
Selecting the ‘Featured’ option will place your add in our featured rotation queue. This queue is displayed on the RestoEquip.com first page. By selecting this option, you increase the number of people that see your ad. Your chances of selling the item increase dramatically.
Selecting the ‘Highlighted’ option will highlight your ad in <COLOR> within the category you placed the ad in. This option differentiates your ad from the others and makes it more visible to customers.
Selecting the ‘Priority Platinum’ option will place your add at the top of a category, in sequence with other ‘Priority Platinum’ ads in that same category. This option increases the number of people that see your ad on top of the ad category. Your chances of selling the item increase dramatically.

How long is a classified ad displayed after I submit it?
Once a classified ad has been activated, it is listed on our site for a period of 30 days. After 30 days have lapsed, the ad becomes expired and will be unlisted.
You can view which ads are active, inactive and the respective validity dates for each ad by navigating to ‘My Account’, followed by selecting ‘Browse Your Listings’.

If I have not sold my item after the above 30 days, what are my options?
You can re-post the ad that has expired, at the same cost as its initial posting. If you are paying-per-ad, you will need to pay the ad listing fee again. If you are on a Subscription Plan, re-posting will cost you one ad from your ‘Remaining Ads’.

PRICING, PAYMENT & SUBSCRIPTION PLANS
What methods of payment do you accept?
We process all payments on RestoEquip.com using PayPal, the fastest and most secure way to shop on the internet.
Through PayPal, you can complete your purchase using VISA, MasterCard or American Express. You can also pay using your PayPal account, if you have one.
Once you create and activate an ad, you will see the following screen:

This is the PayPal payment gateway, from which you can complete your payment. If you do not have a PayPal account, click on the "Continue" link. The next screen will appear:

You can now safely complete your payment with PayPal.

Yes. We have a plan for posting one classified ad. You will need to select the ‘Basic Plan – One Ad’ option as part of your ad creation process.

Yes. We have several plans to choose from, depending on the classified ad listing options you require.
You can purchase a Subscription Plan by:
- Creating your first add and selecting a plan through the creation process
- By going to ‘My Account’, followed by selecting the ‘Subscribe’ option

How long do I have to use all the ads in my Subscription Plan?
Our Subscription Plans range from being valid from 90 days to 180 days. This period is effective as of the date of purchase of a given Subscription Plan. Within this time period, you should post all of your ads to our site. Following the expiration of the plan, all ‘Remaining Ads’ can no longer be posted, and you will need to purchase a new plan.

A basic subscription plan is one which enables you to post regular ads. Regular ads are not ‘Featured’, not ‘Highlighted’ and not ‘Priority Platinum’ by default, but you can add these options to each ad separately for an extra fee.

What is a PREMIUM Subscription Plan?
A premium subscription plan is one which enables you to post premium ads. Premium ads are Highlighted’ and ‘Priority Platinum’ by default. Premium ads are not ‘Featured’ by default. Premium ads also allow product descriptions and more pictures to be posted with your classified listing.

So you have one of our promotional discount codes and you wish to use it? Great!
